JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of Evansville men’s golf team wrapped up action with a seventh place finish at the 11-team North South Intercollegiate at Jacksonville Beach Golf Course. Florida Gulf Coast took the title with a two-round total of 568. Michael Hart from Florida Gulf Coast won the event with a two-round total of 138.
The Aces finished with combined rounds of 307 and 302 for a total of 609. The Aces’ top finisher in the event was Matt Hunsaker who finished seventh. Hunsaker carded a 75 in his second round for total of 145. Christian Poling finished 33rd with a two-day total of 154. Alex Kopko finished 35th, Ryan Linsner finished 37th, and Kyle Reddington finished 44th out of the 60 golfers.
The Aces will return to action March 24 at the Butler Invitational. The two-day event will be held at Prestwick Golf Course in Avon, Ind. Beginning at 8 a.m.
