The University of Evansville Aces Golf Camp will take place June 16-20 from 9 a.m. till noon each day at Hamilton Golf Course in Evansville. The camp is for children ages 8 to 18 and welcomes beginner golfers to the most advanced golfers.
The camp is intended to make the game fun while working on improving golf skills. Campers will be instructed on techniques for putting, chipping, bunker play, full swing, rules and etiquette, course management and much more.
Instructors for the camp bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the camp. UE head coach Jim Hamilton has been a PGA Professional for 26 years. USI women’s head coach Don Bisesi had led the Screaming Eagles to four NCAA regionals in the last five years. Fellow PGA members selected Hamilton and Bisesi as two of Indiana’s Top 10 Instructors. Doc Goldammer is a PGA Professional has a reputation for developing young talent and has been providing professional golf instruction for over 45 years. Several current and former Division I and Division II collegiate golfers will also be on hand to help with the camp.
