DICKSON, Tenn. -- University of Evansville senior Kyle Reddington was the only player among the 58 in the tournament to break 70 in Tuesday's final round of the Murray State Invitational, shooting 3-under-par 69 at Greystone Golf Course. Reddington climbed from 42nd place after two rounds to 22nd in the final individual standings, and Evansville finished eighth as a team. Lipscomb won the tournament with a 54-hole team score of 864, and Belmont University's Scott O'Brien took medalist honors with rounds of 69, 71 and 71 for 5-under-par 211.
Junior Matt Hunsaker was Evansville's top finisher, shooting 78 on Tuesday following a pair of 70s on Monday to finish at 2-over-par 218. Reddington was next at 221. Coach Jim Hamilton's Aces are off until April 21, when they compete in the State Farm MVC Tournament at Davenport, Iowa.
