CHICAGO, Ill.--The University of Evansville volleyball team picked up their second win with a 3-0 victory over Bucknell Friday evening at the Gentile Center at the Loyola Invitational.

 

“We hit really well as a team,” said head coach Mike Swan. “This is the best we have hit all season.”

 

The Aces hit a stellar .351 as they knocked off the Bison in three sets, 25-16, 25-19, 25-16.

 

Ginta Gabruseva led the team hitting .636 with seven kills. Kerry Sylvester hit .455 with five kills. Sally Kulupka and Emily Wandersee each had 10 kills in the win. Kaisi Nixon posted 20 assists and Katie Kincaid tallied 17 assists.

 

The Aces (2-4) will return to action tomorrow with a 2:30 match against Tennessee-Martin and a 7:30 match against host Loyola.
