The University of Evansville men’s swimming and diving team gave it their all, but fell just short, as Miami (Ohio) University defeated the Aces 132-111.
“Our goals for teams competing against us is that we want them to respect us and know that we are going to battle until the end,” said Evansville head coach
Rickey Perkins. “We gave Miami all we have and made them change their game plan, which I’m very happy about. I’m very proud of this team. They could have easily not been ready to race. They really stepped up. Of course I’m disappointed that we lost a lead, but we made them bring their A-game.”
