After rebounding in the second set to tie the match at 1-1, the University of Evansville volleyball team let the next two sets slip away, as the Aces (13-13, 6-8 MVC) fell to Missouri State (18-7, 11-2 MVC) by a score of 3-1 (15-25, 25-19, 22-25, 17-25).
“It’s just frustrating,” said Evansville head coach
Mike Swan. “We rebounded in the second to look impressive, let the third slip away and just give up in the fourth. We need to find ways to beat good teams without unforced errors.”
