Sophomores Brooke Maher and Ellen Sawin were named to the Memphis Invitational All-Tournament Team over the weekend.

Maher, a native of Mason, Ohio, finished the tournament with 37 kills on 115 attempts. The outside hitter also collected 51 digs to average 3.92 digs per set, the second most on the team. Maher tallied 15 kills and 18 digs versus Memphis on Friday.

Sawin has already recorded 149 assists in three games for an 11.46 average. The New Lenox, Illinois, native had four service aces and tabbed five blocks over the weekend. In the match against Arkansas State, the setter made a new career high with 57 assists.

The Purple Aces head to Cincinnati on Friday to build on their 2-1 record. The team faces College of Charleston Friday at 4 p.m. before facing Cincinnati and Youngstown State on Saturday.
