Emily Johnson is two-for-two this season in cracking the top 10. After finishing fourth in the first golf tournament of the year, the University of Evansville junior shot 77 today to finish in a 10th place tie at the University of Cincinnati Invitational, played at 6,186-yard, par 72 Elks Run Golf Course.
Johnson's 54-hole total of 235 (80-78-77) led the Aces to a 12th place team finish. Second for the Aces was junior
Maggie Wood, who shot 78 today to finish at 249, good for 52nd place. Host Cincinnati won the tournament with a team score of 937. The Bearcats and Morehead State tied for first, but Cincinnati won with a better fifth place score. Morehead's Marisa Kamelgarn took medalist honors with rounds of 75, 78 and 70 for 7-over-par 223.
