KETTERING, Ohio -- Freshman Sydney Skiles shot 76 today and finished as Evansville's team leader with a 36-hole score of 159 at the Dayton Flyer Invitational. She was 18th overall in the field of 56. Maggie Wood and Lauren Ellerman tied for 24th at 160. Skiles' score was seven shots lower than her previous best collegiate round.
Butler won the event at NCR North Golf Course with a score of 600. Evansville finished eighth at 645. Coach Jim Hamilton's squad finishes the fall season next Monday and Tuesday at the Memphis Fall Invitational.
