PEORIA, Ill. -- The University of Evansville men's soccer team continues to dominate the stat categories, except for the one that counts the most.  The latest example took place Sunday, when the Aces outshot Bradley 26-11 but came out on the short end of a 2-1 decision.

Seven of UE's last eight matches have been decided by one goal, and the Aces are 1-6 in those seven.  They have two regular season games remaining, both at home, beginning Friday with the nationally televised Fox Soccer Channel Game of the Week against Missouri Valley Conference opponent Eastern Illinois at 7:00 CDT.

Jochen Graf put the Braves on the board early with his flick of a crossing pass that found the goal at 11:35.  Bradley's lead held up through halftime, but the Aces tied the match less than one minute into the second period when Tyler Kincaid punched a loose ball into the back of the net at 45:55 for his second tally of the season.  But the Braves came back at 60:10 with the game-winner, a header from Bryan Gaul to make it 2-1.

The Aces had more opportunities, including a shot off the post by Aaron Henkle, but Bradley was able to survive as goalkeeper Brian Billings racked up eight saves.  Robby Lynch, Tad Kreamalmeyer and Kincaid each had four shots to lead the Aces.
