University of Evansville diver Jen Childers was named Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week as announced by the league office today.

Childers used a score of 247.55 to take second place on the 1-meter boards and help the Aces to a third place finish at the Hilltopper Invitational hosted by Western Kentucky. Childers also finished fourth of eight divers on the 3-meter dive with a final score of 238.86.

A native of Versailles, Ky., Childers currently holds the third best score in the Valley on the 1M boards and fourth best on the 3M.

UE women’s divers have now won Diver of the Week all four weeks that they have been eligible for the award.
