CARBONDALE, Ill.—The University of Evansville women’s swimming and diving team wrapped up day two of the Missouri Valley Conference Championships at Southern Illinois with many top eight finishes.

Freshman Michea Reinitz had the highest finish of the Lady Aces in the finals with a third place ranking in the 100 fly. Sophomore Hannah Quast placed seventh in the 200 free with junior Christina Schmidgall finishing ninth. Freshman Phoebe Hodina finished eighth in the 400 IM while fellow freshman Jill Enge placed sixth in the 100 breast. Sophomore Alex Howard took seventh in the 100 back.

Diving also got underway on Friday, as freshman Sadie Wells finished fifth in the one meter with a score of 231.85.

The Lady Aces head into the final day in fourth place with 301 points. Prelims for the remaining events begin at 10 a.m.
