ST. LOUIS—The University of Evansville women’s swimming and diving team placed nine of its members on the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as announced by the league office.

Alex Howard, Diane Threlkeld, Anna Luecke, Kaitlyn Sluka, Alex Spata, Annie Shackelford, Valerie Jones, Ady Sekely and Christina Schmidgall were all named to the list. For seniors Luecke and Sekely, this marks the third time that they have received this recognition.

To be named to the Scholar-Athlete Team, the student-athlete must be a sophomore or older and hold at least a 3.2 GPA.
