Volleyball player Ellen Sawin and basketball player Kavon Lacey and will represent the University of Evansville this weekend at the Missouri Valley Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Forum in St. Louis. Lacey, a senior from Alton, Ill., is responsible for NCAA legislative reports and Sawin, a junior from New Lenox, Ill., will represent UE regarding community service and fundraising activities. The three-day event involves two student-athletes from each of the 10 Missouri Valley Conference schools, and will include a discussion of MVC and NCAA issues that directly affect student-athletes. Those attending will also be involved in community service projects in St. Louis on Saturday. The meeting will be led by MVC Assistant Commissioner Mary Mulvenna.
