EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michael Sainz and Andrew Luo shot 75 Saturday to lead the University of Evansville golf team to fifth place through the first round of the 15-team Michigan State University Fossum Invitational at Forest Akers Golf Course West.
Thirty-six holes were scheduled Saturday, but heavy rain Saturday afternoon stopped play early in the second round. The tournament will be shortened to 36 holes, with completion of the second round set for Sunday.
