University of Evansville diver Sadie Wells has been named Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week after collecting two wins at last weekend's dual meet at Southern Illinois. This marks the fifth time this season that Wells has won the weekly honor.

Wells swept the boards at last weekend's meet, accounting for two of the women's three first place finishes. She posted scores of 260.25 on the 1-meter and 267.52 on the 3-meter to take first place of eight divers in each event. Wells, who has qualified to compete in the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships on March 10, has now won 14 diving events on the season and is ranked first in the MVC on the 3-meter (279.30) and second on the 1-meter (278.55).  Evansville divers have now won the title of MVC Diver of the Week seven of the eight weeks that they were eligible for the award.
