nd of the season, and scored on junior
Trentt Copeland’s RBI single to left field.
Evansville scored a single run again in the top of the eighth when Stamets reached and advanced to second on a wild throw by third baseman Rob Elliott. With two outs, Fick helped his own cause with an RBI single to left to give UE a 2-0 lead.
Copeland, Fick, and sophomore
Chris Pearson led the Aces offensively with two hits each.
