CARMEL, Ind. -- University of Evansville golfer Sydney Skiles (Evansville, Ind./Memorial) reached the round of 16 before losing to Kristi O'Brien of Fort Wayne in the Indiana Women's Golf Match Play Championship at Prairie View Golf Club.  Skiles shot 78 on Monday in the qualifier for the 12th best score in the field of 42 golfers.  O'Brien, whose 73 was third best in the opening round, defeated Skiles 5 and 4 in their match play on Tuesday.

Skiles was Evansville's number three golfer as a freshman in 2010-11 with an 86.13 average, including a career-best 76 at the Dayton Invitational in October.
