Final Results
DAYTON, Ohio – Freshman
Paige Crafton shot a 74 to lead the University of Evansville women’s golf team in the second round of the Dayton Fall Invitational.
Crafton shot a 74 to mark the best round of the tournament for UE. Her total of 156 tied her for 27
th place. Joining her in that slot was
Sydney Skiles, who also shot a 156 on the strength a second-round 80.
Cathy Doyle finished third on the UE squad as her 159 was good for a tie for 39
th place.
Dana Hayden finished with a 170 while
Kelly Lamarche tallied a 179.
Rachel Marchi notched a 197 to round out the team.
As a team, the Aces took 11
th overall with a two round total of 641. Detroit Mercy remained atop the leaderboard, taking the win with a 588. They finished four strokes ahead of Valparaiso. Ohio U. took third with a 605.
Kelly Voigt of Valpo earned medalist honors with a 139. She shot a tournament-low 68 to wrap up the event. She finished two shots ahead of Angela Codian of Ohio U.
On Monday, UE will be in town to host the Charles Braun Jr. Intercollegiate. Quail Crossing Golf Club will play host to the event.
