FULL RESULTS

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's swimming and diving team was defeated today at Wyttenbach Pool in Carson Center, as the Purple Aces fell to Illinois State, 152-116 .

The UE women grabbed victories in four different events, including the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:58.17. Abby Smith put together an impressive day in the pool placing first in both the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.37 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.18. Smith also contributed to the win of the 400-yard medley along with teammates Taylor Shotwell, Jill Enge, and Michea Reinitz .Caroline Lee also posted a win in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:10.16.

Both the women’s and men’s swimming and diving teams will return to the pool on Nov. 2 when they face Missouri State in a dual meet beginning at 4 p.m.
