Final Results

CHICAGO – Freshman Alex Turner led the Purple Aces men’s golf team once again as he tied for 31^st place to finish up Sunday’s John Dallio Memorial.
 
The teams wrapped up the second round while playing the third round of action to finish up the tournament this afternoon.
 
Turner finished the event with a 233 to lead the Aces.  His round of 76 was the lowest for UE.  The frosh also recorded a 76 in Saturday’s opening round.  Quinn Vilneff was two strokes behind with a 235 and finished in a tie for 39^th.  Rick VoyVodic also carded a 235.
 
Parker Hensley registered a 240 on his way to a tie for 57^th while Josiah Ashba carded a 250 to finish up play in the tournament.

Marquette tallied a 905 to take the team championship.  They were five strokes ahead of DePaul who took second while Northern Iowa came home third.  Kyle Henning of Valparaiso earned medalist honors with a three-round score of 221.
 
The men have a quick turnaround as they are set to begin play tomorrow at the Butler Intercollegiate at Highland Country Club in Indianapolis.
