Evansville got off to a quick start, taking the first two sets.  The Aces took advantage of a pair of Sycamore error to jump out to a 4-1 advantage.  Indiana State fought back within one at 7-6 before UE rallied to take its largest lead of the game at 19-13 on an Emma Roberson kill.  Indiana State fought back to get with two at 21-19 before TenHoor ended the set with a kill to give Evansville the 25-21 win.

Set number two saw Indiana State jump out to the early lead as a pair of Molly Murphy kills gave them an early 4-1 lead.  Their edge grew to 9-5 before Evansville went on an 8-0 run, led by a pair of kills by both Emma Roberson and TenHoor, to take a 13-9 lead.  The Sycamores made a late rally to tie the game up at 23-23, but another kill by Roberson, coupled with an ISU error helped UE take a 25-23 win.

For the second-straight game, Indiana State took a 4-1 advantage, but this time, they turned it into a victory, winning by a 25-21 final.  A Jenn Murphy kill saw UE tie the score up for the first time at 8-all.  Neither team gained an advantage until, with the score tied at 19-19, Indiana State scored four in a row before hanging on for the 25-21 final.

Indiana State used another quick start to take a dominating 25-18 win in the fourth frame.  Cassandra Willis notched a pair of kills as the Sycamores went on an 8-1 run to take an 11-4 lead.  Evansville got within two at 15-13, but Indiana State would gain their momentum back to take the win.

Their comeback attempt was completed as the Sycamores jumped out to a 6-2 advantage before clinching the match with a 15-10 win.

Tomorrow evening, the Aces will finish up the season with a 7 p.m. match against the Redbirds of Illinois State in Normal, Ill.
