Ring led the way once again, notching three kills as UE scored five-consecutive points to take their first lead of the set. They would eventually grab a 2-1 lead in the match as Lauren Seyller recorded a kill to finish off the set.
In the fourth game, Belmont led throughout and overcame yet another UE rally to knot the match up at two games apiece. An ace and two UE errors helped the Bruins get out of the gate with a 4-1 lead before stretching that to seven points, 15-8. As was the case all night, the Purple Aces rallied back, going on a 10-5 run to get within a pair at 20-18. Following a timeout, Belmont quickly regrouped to take a 25-22 win on a Jen Myer kill.
Looking to keep their momentum going, the Bruins scored four out of the first five points once again before holding off another UE rally.
