EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville’s women’s swimming and diving team will return to the pool Saturday afternoon when they travel to Nashville, Tennessee to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
The UE women are coming off a successful meet against Eastern Illinois. The Aces defeated the Panthers, 196-184. At the conclusion of the meet, the UE women placed first in seven different events, including both the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:09.89, as well as the 400-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 3:45.74.

Abby Smith were victorious in the women’s 800-yard medley relay with a time of 8:54.41. Meanwhile,
Melissa Ball,
Mackenzie Harris,
Alex Moore, and
Maja Magnusson took the top spot in the 500-yard freestyle relay clocking in at 4:53.95.
The Aces also placed first in the women’s 300-yard breaststroke relay with a time of 3:25.57, the women’s 300-yard butterfly relay with a time of 3:03.16, and the women’s 200-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 1:40.51.
After Saturday’s meet with Vanderbilt, the UE women will return to the pool when they travel to face Western Kentucky in a dual meet on January 19.
