Final Results

SAPPHIRE, N.C. – Sophomore Alex Turner reeled off one of the top rounds of the day as his 3-under 68 helped him tie for third place as the University of Evansville men's golf team completed its fall season on Tuesday at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate.
 
Turner posted a 3-round total of 214 to jump up the leaderboard on the final day.  J.T. Poston carded three rounds under par en route to medalist honors with a 204.  He plays for host Western Carolina.  Taking second with a 210 was Clement Kurniawan of Gardner-Webb.
 
Next up for the Aces was Quinn Vilneff, who tallied a 78 on Tuesday to finish with a 223, tied for 33^rd.  Rick Voyvodic and Will Knights tied for 45^th with a 230 while Jon Pick had his low round of the event, a 77, to tie for 51^st.
 
As a team, Evansville took ninth place, just one stroke behind Colgate for 8^th.  Wofford rallied on the final day to take the team victory.  Trailing Appalachian State by two strokes going into the final day, they shot a 286 to jump over the Mountaineers and take the win, 860-864.
