FULL RESULTS
CHARLSETON, IL. – The University of Evansville men's and women's swimming and diving teams won a dual meet this afternoon against the Eastern Illinois Panthers. The Aces women's team won by a score of 130-75, while the men's squad won by a score of 126-79.

For the Lady Aces today, the team as a whole displayed a strong performance. Some of the top performances of the day came from
Abby Smith who finished first in the 50-yard free with a time of 24.65 and
Sam Montgomery who finished second behind Smith in the 50-yard free with a time of 24.84. The Women finished in the top 3 spots in the 200-yard IM with
Mackenzie Powell finishing first, 2:13.98,
Caroline Lee finishing second, 2:14.00 and
Charlotte Lechner finishing third, 2:18.38. Freshmen
Danielle Freeman and Michaela Kent also continued their strong seasons with a top-two finish in the 500-yard free with times of 5:17.84 and 5:22.156.

The Aces men's squad didn't do to shabby for itself either with another victory. The top performer of the day was
Cooper Bowen who finished first in the 500-yard free, 4:50.52, and second in the 1000-yard free with a time of 10:00.95. Other notable performances came from
Ashton Bishop, who won the 200-yard free and the 100-yard free,
Troy Burger who won the 200-yard IM and
Hayden Berg who won the 200-yard fly.

For the Panthers the top performers of the day were Kaylee Morris of the women who won the 100-yard free and Brogan O'Doherty who won the 200-yard backstroke.

The Aces will swim again as a team from Nov. 22 to Nov. 24 at the House of Champions meet in Indianapolis.
