NFCA Rankings
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville softball team has been recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for its outstanding performance both on and off the field in 2013.
The Aces ranked 44
th in the country among Division-1 softball schools, with a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.339.
Seven members of the team earned All-America Scholar Athlete honors by having a 3.500 GPA or higher for the year. Those players were Britni Cherry,
Emily Morris,
Halie Malone, Nicole Rahming, Sarah Baldwin,
Victoria Dellorto and Victoria Griffin.
The NFCA is the professional growth organization for fastpitch softball coaches from all competitive levels of play. The NFCA has been offering services for fastpitch softball since the early 1980's.
The Lady Aces will start their season on Feb. 14 in Birmingham, Ala., against Eastern Kentucky.
