EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Purple Aces men’s golf team makes the quick trip to Bloomington this weekend where they will take part in the NYX Hoosier Invitational at the Indiana University Golf Course.
Play begins at 7:30 a.m. CT on Saturday with 36 holes while Sunday’s play commences with 18 holes at 8 a.m. CT. Founded in 1957, the course par is set for 71 while the total yardage is 6,813.
A total of 17 teams are set to play as the field includes Indiana, Michigan, Toledo, IUPUI, Miami (Ohio), Oakland, SIU Edwardsville, Illinois State, IPFW, Western Illinois, Wright State, Detroit Mercy, Youngstown State, Ohio U., Dayton and Butler.
Quinn Vilneff earned Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week honors thanks to his performance last time out for UE as he tied for third place at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate. Vilneff finished the event with a 146, just three strokes off of the win.

rd. He was followed by fellow freshmen

th as each shot a 156.
