NORMAL, Ill. – After two rounds of play in the Weibring Intercollegiate, University of Evansville sophomore
Rick Voyvodic sits in a tie for third place entering the final 18 holes on Monday at the Illinois State University Golf Course.

Voyvodic opened with a 2-under 69 in the first round before carding a 73 on his way to an even 142 entering the last round on Monday. He is just two shots off of the leading pace. As a team, UE stands with a 581 after two rounds, just two shots off of the lead.

Four strokes behind him was fellow sophomore
Alex Turner. The Evansville native tallied round of 77 and 69 on his way to a tie for 18
th place with a 146. In his first collegiate round, freshman
Jon Pick registered a 77 before notching a 1-over 72 to finish with 149, sitting in a tie for 38
th.

Quinn Vilneff posted a 150 in the opening day while
Parker Hensley rounded out the team with a 151 in a tie for 55
th overall. The Purple Aces combined to post a 1-under 283 in Sunday's second round, the top round for any team on the first day.

Purdue and Arkansas-Little Rock sit atop the leaderboard with scores of 579. Â The Boilermakers have the top two players in the individual list as Austin Eoff posted a 140 while teammate Adam Schenk is just behind with a 141. Â A four-way tie for third place, including Voyvodic, has a 142.
