Â
Indiana State retook the lead and once again opened up a 3-point lead on several occasions before the Aces made a late push to tie it up. Down 21-18, Rachel TenHoor set UE on a 3-0 run as they knotted the set for the first time since the score was 9-9. After ISU countered with two points, Meaghan Holmes notched a kill to make is 23-22, but a late error clinched the set for the Sycamores, 25-23.

In keeping with their never give up attitude all season, the Aces made their run as Ring and Emma Roberson led the offense to get back within two tallies (20-18). The run continued as the Aces cut the gap to one with a TenHoor kill to make it a 24-23 game, but Victoria Swigart notched a kill to give ISU a 2-0 lead.
Â
Early in the third game, it looked like Indiana State would take control as they scooted out to a 5-2 edge. The Sycamores continued to lead with the score at 14-10 before a 4-0 run got the Aces right back in the game. Sophomore Stephanie Cerino and fellow sophomore Roberson helped in the fight, which eventually led to UE taking the lead at 18-17 on an ISU error.
Â
With Evansville up 21-20, the Sycamores rallied to take a 24-21 lead, but Evansville had another fight left in its, posting the next four points to retake the lead at 25-24 on another Roberson kill. Indiana State once again had the answer as following a timeout, they rallied to post the next three points before a Victoria Swigart kill finished the match.
