EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Former University of Evansville men's soccer standout Paul Nevin was promoted by Norwich City to one of the club's top assistant positions to manager Neil Adams for the remainder of the 2013-14 Premier League season, in an announcement made by the club on Thursday.
 
Nevin, who played for Evansville from 1987-90, was an All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference selection in 1988, received the Aces' Greg Bordfeld Spirit of the Aces Award in 1990 and currently ranks 30th on UE's all-time career scoring list with 44 points on 11 goals and 22 assists.
