SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – University of Evansville sophomore Genesis Miranda was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team by the league on Thursday morning.
The reigning All-MVC Freshman Team member upped her game in her second season with the Purple Aces. She set the program record with 1,370 attempts and 473 total kills on the season. She was second in the league with her final of 4.25 kills per set.
Miranda's final tally of 4.25 kills per frame put her in the top 30 in the NCAA. She also ranked near the top of the nation in attacks per set as her 12.37 is 12
th in the nation.
