Conor Gilligan ended the rally in the seventh, threw a scoreless eighth and maneuvered around a WKU rally in the ninth to prevail for the 9-8 Aces win.
Â
"In game one, Williams gave us the lift off the bench with a Josh Jyawook injury, hitting two home runs including the go-ahead," added Carroll. "In game two, we came out offensively on a four run lead. We were able to hold on and piece it together with our bullpen. It was a great effort from Gilligan to shut the door."

Williams ended the doubleheader with two home runs, four runs scored and five runs batted in. Designated hitter
Max Foley and outfielder
Kevin Kaczmarski each totaled five hits in the doubleheader.
