ST. LOUIS – After winning four Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week awards as a freshman, sophomore Kayla Katterhenry earned the first one of her second season at UE as she garnered the honor from the league on Wednesday.

Kayla Katterhenry finished in fourth place at the Don Benbow Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.
After the trip to the opening tournament was cancelled, the Aces had a few extra weeks to prepare and that helped out. Katterhenry had her best finish of the school year while just three shots off of the win. Her efforts also led the University of Evansville to a finish of fourth place in the event.
Katterhenry and her teammates are now preparing for a stop in Sevierville, Tenn. for the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, which is set for Monday and Tuesday.
