With today's effort, Coverdale finishes a strong freshman season that saw her qualify for the qualified for the NCAA's in the opening home meet of the season versus Southern Illinois.  Her score of 266.77 in the 1-meter event was the clinching score.

She got even better as her inaugural campaign at UE went along and that was capped off by her top effort at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.  Coverdale recorded a 289.35 to take fourth place.  It was also within shouting distance of Sadie Wells' school record of 297.25.  Wells set the UE mark in the 1-meter, 6-dive event in the 2012-13 season.
