EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville baseball program is very visible this summer as many Purple Aces are playing professional baseball and collegiate league baseball.

Notable:  Returning from injury…yet to make his season debut this year
 
RHP SAM JOHNS
Hagerstown (WAS, A)
Season:  0-1, 5.54 ERA, SV, 18 GP, 26.0 IP, 30 H, 19 R, 16 ER, 8 BB, 15 K
Notable:  Fired a hitless, scoreless inning in his last outing at Delmarva (June 25).
 
OF KEVIN KACZMARSKI
Kingsport (NYM, Rk)
Season:  .286 BA, 0 HR, 0 RBIs, 2 R, 2 H, 2 BBs
Notable:  Made professional debut vs. Johnson City (June 24).. recorded his first professional hit with a two hit, two run effort vs. Johnson City (June 25).
 
RHP KYLE LLOYD
Lake Elsinore (SDP, A+)
Season:  4-4, 4.74 ERA, 15 GP, 9 GS, 62.2 IP, 62 H, 42 R, 33 ER, 23 BB, 63 K
Notable:  Received the win in his last start, going 5.0 innings, and allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits at Lancaster (June 18)…ranks second on the team in strikeouts.
 
C KYLE POLLOCK
Idaho Falls (KCR, Rk)
Season:  .294 BA, 0 HR, 3 RBIs, 5 H, 2 2Bs
Notable:  Started the season at Lexington (KCR, A) where he hit .214 in 22 games…has hit safely in back to back games.
 
INF ERIC STAMETS
Arkansas (LAA, AA)
Season:  .256 BA, 1 HR, 10 RBIS, 10 R, 32 H, 6 2Bs, 2 SBs
Notable:  Collected three hits in his last six at bats, hitting safely in back to back games.

Notable:  Leads his team with two wins this season
 
RHP BRIAN JESTICE

Notable:  Delivered quality start of 6.0 inning, two run baseball with season-high seven strikeouts at Joliet (June 4).

Notable:  Has hit safely in five of his last seven games played…leads the team with two sacrifice flies this season.

Notable:  On a three game hitting streak and has hit safely in four of the last five games.

Notable:  Five stolen bases lead the team… has hit safely in four straight games…scored three runs vs. the Nationals (June 25).
