NORMAN, Okla. – Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars for Divisions I, II and the NAIA have been announced by the GCAA. A total of 206 players in Division I, 91 in Division II and 17 in NAIA earned the honor.

Included in the list of honorees this season was University of Evansville junior Will Knights.  Standing with a GPA of 3.837, the marketing major has excelled in the classroom and on the course.  He is coming off of his best season with the program, averaging 75.96 strokes per round.  That is almost three strokes better than his average as a freshman.

Knights improved as the season went along, averaging 76.33 strokes in the fall of 2014 before lowering that to a 75.64 in the spring of 2015.  His top finish in the fall was a 9th at the Butler Fall Invitational, which included a round of 71, tying his season-low.  He registered his third 71 of the season at the Bradley Invitational where he had his season-best finish of fifth place.  His consistency was stellar in his junior season as 23 of his 26 rounds finished in the 70's.

Additionally, 34 honorees were added to the previously released Division III Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars. To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II, 77.0 in NAIA and 79.0 in Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
