EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Evansville men's soccer team takes on Belmont in a midweek non-conference matchup at Arad McCutchan Stadium at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Last week, Evansville fell to No. 1 Indiana, 4-0, on the road before dropping a conference clash with Valparaiso, 2-1. The Aces held the top-ranked Hoosiers to just a single goal in the first half before Indiana added three more in the second half. Against Valpo, Evansville found itself in a 2-0 hole at the half, but scored a goal off a header by senior midfielder Ian McGrath in the 48th minute that pushed UE back within one. Despite controlling much of the possession in the second half, the Aces were unable to find an equalizer in the 2-1 loss.
