OLD HICKORY, Tenn. - After nine tournaments across the fall and spring seasons, the University of Evansville men's golf team heads into its final tournament of the regular season at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee State at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn.

This weekend, the Purple Aces and the rest of the field at the Big Blue Intercollegiate will battle at The President's Reserve, one of two courses at Hermitage Golf Course. The par 72 course will play 7,157 yards for the intercollegiate this week.

Evansville heads into the final week of the regular season coming off a strong weekend at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate a week ago. The Aces earned a ninth-place finish among the loaded 17-team field at the intercollegiate with a three-round total of 871 (303 - 284 - 284).

After an opening-round 80, Tyler Gray returned to form in the final two rounds of competition with a one-under 71 and an even par 72 to close out the tournament. Gray's three-round total of 223 put him a tie for 15th at the finish as Gray finished just six strokes back of the individual medalist.

Following Gray was Spencer Wagner concluded a successful tournament with a 77 in the final round to give Wagner a total of 227 (74 - 77 - 76), placing him in a tie for 28th, while Matthew Ladd was the third-lowest Purple Ace as the sophomore finished in a tie for 54th with a total of 232 (74 - 79 - 79).

Noah Reese made a 14-spot jump carding one of the best rounds on the final day of competition with a one-under 71, as Reese finished a tie for 61st with a total of 233 (79 - 83 - 71). The 71 was Reese's  low round of 2017-18 so far and the second-lowest round in his collegiate career. Cameron Weyer followed Reese as Weyer finished in a tie for 83rd with a total of 242 (82 - 81 - 79).
