EVANSVILLE, Ind. - In the midst of a five-day stretch featuring three matches, the University of Evansville women's soccer team opens the weekend at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Friday night before heading east for a road matchup on Sunday.

To begin the weekend, Evansville hosts Tennessee Tech at McCutchan Stadium at 7 p.m. on Friday night. The Purple Aces wrap-up the three-match week with a trip to Oxford, Ohio to take on Miami (Ohio) at Noon on Sunday.

Friday's matchup marks the third meeting between UE and TTU in series history. The two sides last met on September 21, 2014 when the Aces grabbed a 7-0 victory over the Golden Eagles in Evansville. Just a year earlier, Evansville and TTU met for the first time with UE earning a 2-1 win on the road. The Golden Eagles own a 2-2 record and are coming off a weekend in which TTU opened with a 2-1 win over East Tennessee State before dropping a 4-0 match to North Alabama.

Evansville and Miami (Ohio) do battle for the seventh time after the Aces picked up a 1-0 victory over the RedHawks a season ago. In the all-time series, UE owns a 4-2 advantage over Miami and is currently on a three-match winning-streak over the RedHawks. Heading into the weekend, Miami holds a 0-2-1 record after beginning the season against Northwestern, Indiana, and Western Kentucky. Before hosting the Aces, Miami faces a fellow Missouri Valley Conference team in Illinois State on Friday evening.

At McCutchan Stadium on Friday night, the Aces host High School Soccer Night. Evansville will celebrate high school soccer in the Tri-State area. High school soccer teams who submitted their roster by Thursday will receive complimentary admission to the match.
