EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Purple Aces interim head volleyball coach Fernando Morales will serve as an assistant coach with the Puerto Rico National Team in July.
 
Morales will work with the team at the Pan Am Cup, which will take place from July 5-15 in Peru.  Puerto Rico will take on the United States, Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago in group play at the tournament.
 
"As a player I always took pride in representing my country.  Now in the start of my career as a coach it will not be any different," Morales said.  "I want to thank the coach Jose Mieles for giving me this incredible opportunity.  I will go to help and learn as much as I can."
 
He will travel to Peru to begin his work with the women's national team in the coming week.  You can follow the progress of Coach Morales and the team at www.norceca.net.
