EVANSVILLE, In. – Looking to build on the first two meets of the indoor season the University of Evansville's men's and women's track and field teams head to the Marshall Invitational.

• The two-day event starts on Friday (Feb. 6) with field events starting at 4:30 p.m. CT and the track events beginning at 6 p.m. CT. Saturday's field events get started at 9 a.m. CT with track kicking off at 11 a.m. CT.
• The Aces will take on six other Division I schools at the Marshall Invitational, including Eastern Kentucky, Marshall, Morehead State, Murray State, Ohio and Western Kentucky.
• Last time out the Purple Aces had an impressive showing at the John Gatland Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind.
• Anna Lowry set a new program record in the 5,000-meter run, earning the event title at 17:30.12, marking the fastest 5K in the league.
• Joey Rucinski posted a school record in points collected in the men's heptathlon, with 3,665 points earning first place in the event.
• Other school records set at the John Gatland Invitational included Haylee Harmeyer in the 400-meter dash (1:01.96), Taiza Alexander in the 60-meter dash (8.06) and Baylee Geng in shot put (9.48-meters).
