EVANSVILLE - After a strong showing at Kentucky, the University of Evansville men's soccer team will close out its preseason slate against Hanover at 5 PM on Sunday at Arad McCutchan Stadium.

Last Match: Kentucky 4, Evansville 1 (Exhibition)

• In the first preseason tune-up, Evansville looked strong in the early going, rebounding after an early Wildcat goal.
• Jakub Hall found the back of the net for the Aces in the 36th minute to equalize the match and UE kept pace with UK for much of the remainder of the match.
• After Evansville made substitutions late on in the match, Kentucky found another offensive gear, scoring three times in the final 20 minutes to capture the 4-1 win.

Previewing the Panthers

• A member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, Hanover comes off an 8-1-1 campaign last season.
• The Panthers are picked second in the HCAC for the fall season, returning their top three scorers from the spring, who combined for 22 of Hanover's 35 goals.
• Since 2015, the Panthers have won 72 games, including double-digit wins in every season prior to last season, which was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Guillen named MVC Preseason First Team

• Sophomore midfielder Pablo Guillen was named to the Missouri Valley Conference's Preseason First Team on Thursday.
• Guillen joins teammate Ethan Garvey as two current Aces to have made the preseason team.
