EVANSVILLE - Wrapping-up the home weekend, the University of Evansville women's basketball team plays host to Southern Illinois on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM in the first Jimmy John's Cup matchup between the two sides inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

Previewing the Matchup: Southern Illinois

• Evansville and SIU are meeting for the 65th time in series history with the Salukis owning a 36-28 advantage in the all-time series.
• Last season, Evansville and the Salukis met twice in Carbondale, Ill., with SIU capturing both matchups by 18 point margins.
• SIU has not played since last Sunday after its game with Indiana State scheduled for Thursday night was postponed due to COVID-19.
• The Aces will be playing just their fourth home game since December 11 after playing six of their last eight games on the road.

Je'Naiya Gets to the Line

• Junior guard Je'Naiya Davis has shown a strength in driving and getting to the charity stripe this season.
• Davis sits in the top 150 in the nation in both free throws made and free throws attempted.

Battling for Rebounds

• The Aces have improved their performance on the boards over the last four games.
• Against Indiana State, Valparaiso, and Missouri State, Evansville has recorded three of its four best games in rebounding margin.
