EVANSVILLE - As the fall semester wanes, student-athletes from the University of Evansville took time to spread some holiday cheer to children at local schools.

Members of men's and women's golf, women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's swimming and diving, and men's and women's track and field and cross country spent the day reading holiday stories to schoolchildren at a few local schools in the Evansville area. In all, UE student-athletes interacted with nearly 400 local kids from kindergarten through fifth grade.

The program continues what has been a consistent effort from UE student-athletes to engage the community and use their positions as collegiate athletes for good.
