EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville men's soccer team is set to host Southern Indiana on Tuesday in the fifth annual Mayor's Cup at Arad McCuthan Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
Series History
Tuesday marks the fifth all-time meeting between Evansville and Southern Indiana. The Aces hold a 3-1-0 advantage in the series and lead 1-1-0 in games played at Arad McCutchan Stadium. The teams met last year on the West Side, with Evansville earning the 3-0 victory.

Southern Indiana brings a 0-3-2 record into Tuesday's match. The Screaming Eagles most recently fell to Marquette, 3-2, on Saturday in Milwaukee, Wis.
Last Time Out
Evansville earned its first win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Lindenwood Friday night on the road.
Alejandro Fernandez opened the scoring in the 10th minute, finishing a pass from
Izán Redondo, before
Devin Shepherd doubled the lead in the 21st minute with a header assisted by
Rodrigo Zambrana.
The Aces continued to create opportunities throughout the first half and took a 2-0 advantage into the break. Lindenwood generated several chances early in the second half, but Evansville's defense continued to keep the Lions off the scoreboard.
Evansville added to its lead in the 64th minute when
Etienne Ravelli scored his first career goal with a bicycle kick following a corner kick from
Ben Zec and a header from
Marc Martin. The spectacular goal was featured at No. 6 on ESPN's SportsCenter Top Ten. The Aces' defense held Lindenwood without a shot in the final 25 minutes of the match, while
Hugo Amo made two saves to record Evansville's first clean sheet of the season.
