MANHATTAN, Kan. -- The University of Evansville women's golf team is tied for ninth place going into Tuesday's final 18 holes of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational at Colbert Hills Golf Club.

Crissy Higgins led the Aces Monday with a 3-over-par 75, good for 15th place in the field of 75 golfers.   Vandi Gooch is 30th at 78.  The first round leader is Elli Brown of Nebraska, who shot 2-under-par 70.
