CLARSKSVILLE, Tenn. -- University of Evansville senior
Vandi Gooch produced the top individual finish of the fall season for the Purple Aces today, ending up seventh in a field of 92 golfers at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate women's golf tournament at Clarksville Country Club.
Gooch followed Monday's opening round 79 with a 75 today to finish at 10-over-par 154 in the final event of the fall season for coach
Jim Hamilton's team. Gooch is the second top-10 finisher for the Aces this fall.
Emily Johnson came in ninth at the 61-player Butler Invitational on October 7.
Tennessee Tech won the 17-team F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate with a score of 620, and Evansville came in 13th at 661. Belmont's Lorie Warren was medalist at 1-over-par 145.
