Vandi Gooch has started off her senior season in award-winning fashion. Gooch was chosen today as the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week after finishing 11th in a field of 85 golfers Tuesday at the Draper Intercollegiate at Draper, Va. Gooch shot rounds of 72 and 78 at Draper Valley Golf Club to finish at 6-over-par 150, six shots behind tournament medalist Blaire Minter of Western Carolina. The Aces finished eighth out of 14 teams, with four players shooting 158 or better.
