BATAVIA, Ohio -- Junior Lauren Ellerman shot 79 in today's final round of the Cincinnati Fall Classic to finish as the University of Evansville's leader with a 54-hole score of 243. Ellerman finished 51st in the field of 90 golfers at Elks Run Golf Club. Tournament champion was Cincinnati's Bambee Dela Paz at 1-over par 217. Florida International won the 16-team tourney with a team score of 889, 11 strokes ahead of runnerup Toledo. UE's team score of 325 today was nine strokes better than Monday's second round, and 12 strokes better than the first round.
Coach Jim Hamilton's Aces compete again next Monday and Tuesday at the SIUE Invitational at Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville, Ill.
